8:00 am – Mule ride registration at Mulerider Stables

10:00 am – Mule ride departs Magnolia for McNeil

11:45 am – Mule judging at McNeil, east of L&NW engines

12:00 pm – Lunch at McNeil City Hall (served 11:30 – 2 pm):
• SAU Pep Band
• Mule artifact booths (blacksmith, farer, etc)
• Display of mule photographs and artifacts from public
• Tour L&NW engines
• Public invited to welcome the riders into McNeil
• Non-riders bring your own folding chair
• $5/ticket; hamburger/chips/dessert/soda

2:00 pm: Depart McNeil for return trip to Magnolia
• Non-return riders may have their livestock picked-up at McNeil

5:00 pm: Mule Jump Demonstration – SAU Welcome Center:
• Open to the public. No admission charge.

6:00 pm: Community Steak Dinner – SAU Welcome Center:
• Mule and Wagon Awards
• Country Music
• $15/ticket for steak dinner

In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to Sept. 20, 2009.
