Founders’ Day
April 1, 2009, marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of Act 100. This piece of legislation created four schools of agriculture that are now known as Arkansas State University, Arkansas Tech University, Southern Arkansas University, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
At SAU, we have scheduled a host of events to commemorate the significance of this date. We hope you will join us for these events and become a part of history as we pay tribute to our own.
Schedule of Events
(Tentative)
12 p.m. – Groundbreaking ceremony for SAU Alumni Centennial Bridge
Join the Alumni Association as they break ground for the SAU Alumni Centennial Bridge just behind the SAU Welcome Center. Lunch will be provided for alumni and friends of SAU.

The SAU Mulerider baseball team will take on Grambling State University at 1 p.m. at Mulerider Field.
